Oxytocin release and milk removal in machine-milked mares
2002In this work oxytocin release and milking characteristics during machine milking of mares were investigated. Two experiments were performed twice each in all animals. In experiment 1 mares were milked twice subsequently and residual milk was collected after milking 2 with injection of oxytocin (10 i.u. i.v.).
