UCanWBGT: urban street canyon heat stress calculation for weather and climate models
Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, EarlyView.This work introduces UCanWBGT, a new model to calculate wet‐bulb globe temperature in an urban environment, suitable for use with weather and climate model data. We present the model, then verify its performance against observations made in the streets of Paris during heatwave conditions.

Geostandards and Geoanalytical Research, EarlyView.Key Points Optimising plasma conditions via the normalised argon index (NAI) reduces polyatomic interferences, allowing accurate sulfur isotope measurement in low‐resolution mode on MC‐ICP‐MS. Low‐resolution mode enhances sensitivity by approximately threefold compared with conventional high‐resolution analysis.
