Adaptive jitter margin PID controller

2008 IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering, 2008
This paper develops an adaptive controller for (wireless) networked control systems by combining delay estimation and a jitter margin based PID controller tuning. A control system with wireless measurement is assumed, where the network induces delay jitter.

An analysis of margin adaptation of all-porcelain facial margin ceramometal crowns

The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 1986
E limination of the metal collar or metal substructure at the facial margin of a ceramometal crown will greatly improve the esthetic result of the completed restoration. A number of techniques for fabrication of facial porcelain margins for these restorations (platinum foil, refractory die, and direct lift-off) have been described.‘-’ The least ...

MARGINAL ADAPTABILITY AND FIT OF CERAMIC MILLED INLAYS

The Journal of the American Dental Association, 1995
The authors investigated the marginal adaptation and internal fit of ceramic inlay made by a ceramic milling system. The study's results indicated that the mean marginal and internal gap size of the ceramic inlay restorations was less than 100 microns, making the fit clinically acceptable.

Adaptive maximum margin analysis for image recognition

Pattern Recognition, 2017
Abstract Most existing discriminant manifold learning methods aim to maximize the margin among nearby data, which is determined in the high-dimensional original space. As such, they do not necessarily best maximize the margin between different classes in the low-dimensional space, which is a critically important property for image classification.

Factors influencing the marginal adaptation of amalgam

The Journal of the American Dental Association, 1967
Results of this study indicated that under controlled technics the best adaptations were obtained by using small increments of 50 to 52 percent mercury amalgam mix without expressing mercury, and by use of lateral condensing thrusts.

Marginal adaptation of nine commercial intermediate resins

Dental Materials, 1991
The bonding efficacy of nine commercially available intermediate resins was examined by measuring the maximum contraction gap of a light-activated composite in a cylindrical cavity of human dentin. With only one exception, the marginal adaptation of the composite improved significantly when the intermediate resins were combined with an experimental ...

Marginal adaptation of resin veneers to gold castings

Acta Odontologica Scandinavica, 1985
The magnitude of the fissures between resin facing materials and gold castings was measured by light microscopy. Two different products and two different processing procedures were used. The effect of water sorption on the fissure size was also studied. Mean fissure sizes varied between 3 and 25 microns.

Wear and marginal adaptation of composite resin inlays

The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 1994
MOD inlays were made with conventional, coarse hybrid, fine hybrid, and two microfilled composite resins. They were adhesively luted in six extracted human molars for each group and were subjected to longitudinal, in vitro testing. Final wear ranged from 46.8 +/- 18.6 microns for fine hybrid composite resin to 132.0 +/- 39.3 microns for conventional ...

Marginalized Augmented Few-Shot Domain Adaptation

IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems
Domain adaptation (DA) has recently drawn a lot of attention, as it facilitates unlabeled target learning by borrowing knowledge from an external source domain. Most existing DA solutions seek to align feature representations between the labeled source and unlabeled target data.
