Are different generations of CAD/CAM milling machines capable to produce restorations with similar quality? [PDF]
Background: Different CAD/CAM machinesâ generation may impact the restoration overall quality. The present study evaluated the marginal fit of CAD/CAM restorations manufactured with different generations of CEREC milling unit systems.

This study indicates that Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) does not originate from Merkel cells, and identifies gene, protein & cellular expression of immune‐linked and neuroendocrine markers in primary and metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) tumor samples, linked to Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) status, with enrichment of B‐cell and other immune cell

Marginal fitness contributions of nonessential genes in yeast
Analysis of the complete genome sequence of Saccharomyces cerevisiae confirms and extends earlier evidence that a majority of yeast genes are not essential, at least under laboratory conditions. Many fail to yield a discernible mutant phenotype even when disrupted.

Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Marginal adaptation and fit of adhesive ceramic inlays
This in vitro study compared the marginal adaptation of CAD/CAM and laboratory-made ceramic inlays before, during and after loading. Six MOD inlay preparations of standardized design with one cervical margin in dentine and the other in enamel were prepared for each inlay type: CAD/CAM fabricated MGC-glass ceramic inlays, CAD/CAM fabricated feldspathic ...

Conformally Exact Black Hole Perturbed by a Marginal Operator [PDF]
We have examined effective theory induced by gauged WZW models, in which the tachyon field is added as a marginal operator. Due to this operator added, we must further add the higher order corrections, which modifies the original configuration, to make ...
