THE ARRANGEMENTS OF COMPENSATION FOR MARINE POLLUTION BY PLASTIC WASTE IN INDONESIA
One of the environmental damages currently quite disturbing is the ecological damage caused by plastic waste. Plastic waste is difficult to decompose so that it can disrupt the ecosystem of the land and the sea. One of the impacts of plastic waste is on the health of marine animals, where some of these animals, such as turtles, eat debris or plastic ...

Analysis of the Regulatory Framework for the CCU Technology
ABSTRACT Carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) is increasingly considered an important technology for achieving climate neutrality within the German and European legal framework. Recent developments, particularly the Carbon Dioxide Storage and Transport Act (KSpTG), aim to enable CO2 transport infrastructure and cross‐sector carbon management systems ...

This study exploits phase equilibria calculations to describe fundamental behavior of fast pyrolysis bio‐oil during recovery (condensation) and downstream fractionation (extraction). This information is combined with an overview of potential value chains to produce chemicals via biomass fast pyrolysis to assess strategies and synergies.

Developments in the EU Emissions Trading System and Their Effects on CCU Pathways
From an engineer's perspective, the development of the European emissions trading system is analyzed. Difficulties for the use of carbon dioxide, particularly from mixed carbon sources, can be traced back to regulations whose effects might be resolved in the upcoming EU ETS revision. ABSTRACT The analysis presented in this article focuses on provisions

Abstract This study examines the microwave‐assisted catalytic pyrolysis (MACP) of individual and blended textiles (cotton, polyester, nylon 6) using ZnO and a ZnO/natural zeolite catalyst. In a custom‐built microwave reactor operated at 500°C, 1 kW power, and a 15‐min residence time, textile wastes were pyrolyzed.
