Analysis of Alaska Transportation Sectors to Assess Energy Use and Impacts of Price Shocks and Climate Change Legislation [PDF]
We analyzed the use of energy by Alaska’s transportation sectors to assess the impact of sudden fuel prices changes. We conducted three types of analysis: 1) Development of broad energy use statistics for each transportation sector, including total ...

Photocatalytic treatment of glyphosate herbicide in agricultural wastewater is achieved through the cooperative effect of the local polarization field and dipole field mediated by lattice‐distorted carbon nitride. Glyphosate is completely degraded via selective C─P bond cleavage with a CO evolution rate of 1166 µmol g−1 h−1.

Site‐Specific Hydroxide Formation and Corrosion on Mg Nanocrystals
Using single‐crystalline Mg nanocrystals, this study uncovers the intrinsic corrosion initiation mechanism. The stability of the protective Mg(OH)2 film depends on its interfacial coherence with the Mg substrate. Corrosion initiates at exposed corners, where film coverage is incomplete.

A CCM‐based architectural strategy is introduced for high‐temperature PEM fuel cells, enabling MPL‐free carbon paper gas diffusion layers via decal‐transfer processing. By co‐engineering the CCM, GDL, and a G‐foam flow field, oxygen transport is enhanced while phosphoric‐acid leakage is suppressed, resulting in high power density and stable operation ...

CO2 reduction in pure water is enabled by a rapid‐transport fixed‐charge interface that couples nanochannels with a cationic microenvironment. This design eliminates the mass transport plateau, stabilizes key reaction intermediates, and suppresses the hydrogen evolution reaction, ultimately achieving ampere‐level current densities and stable operation ...
