A disulfide‐sticker strategy, coupled with Ca2+ coordination, drives the hierarchical self‐assembly of a recombinant scallop adhesive protein into fishnet‐like nanostructures, affording a coating with versatile wet adhesion and intrinsic antioxidant activity. This biocompatible coating markedly promotes hair regeneration by activating follicular niches,

Viruses in marine sediments: a review of their effect on biogeochemistry and microbial interactions
Viruses are known to impact the flow of carbon through the environment, while also impacting the microbial community around them. While this has been reexamined in recent years in the marine water column, viral impacts on marine sediments, the microbes ...

Corramycin, a myxobacterial natural product antibiotic, exhibits potent bactericidal activity against multidrug‐resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The compound hijacks bacterial transporters such as BacA and OppABCD to enter the cell and inhibits DNA synthesis through a previously unrecognized mode of DNA gyrase poisoning, locking the enzyme in an ...

The Behaviour of 134Cs, 60Co, and 85Sr Radionuclides in Marine Environmental Sediment
This work describes experimental investigations and modelling studies on the sorption of radionuclides 134Cs, 60Co, and 85Sr by certain marine sediments within Egypt. The chemical composition of the marine sediments was determined. The soluble salts were

AI Designed Conformation Locking Peptides Target STING to Restore Diabetic Wound Healing
A generative AI pipeline identifies SCP‐1, a conformation‐locking peptide that stabilizes inactive STING. Incorporated into a dual‐responsive hydrogel for localized, MMP‐9‐triggered release, SCP‐1 suppresses inflammation, promotes reparative macrophage polarization, and accelerates diabetic wound healing.
