Ryr1 deletion reduces Ca2+ microdomains and delays global Ca2+ signaling in naïve CD4+ T cells but does not impair their activation, proliferation, or differentiation in vitro. Despite altered Ca2+ signaling, Ryr1 expression in CD4+ T cells was dispensable for their pathogenicity in murine models of intestinal inflammation.

Safety Evaluation of an Aqueous Root and Leaf Extract of Ashwagandha ( Withania somnifera )
Sensoril, an aqueous root and leaf extract of ashwagandha showed no evidence of mutagenicity in the in vitro Ames assay, was negative in the in vitro micronucleus, in vivo mammalian bone marrow chromosome aberration assays, and was well tolerated in the rat at up to 4000 mg/kg BW/day when administered orally for a period of 90 days. The data from these

Programmable Inter‐Droplet Communication by Polymer‐Gated Ion Transport Through Nanopore Lattices
Laser‐written polyelectrolyte barriers were applied for regulating imbibition and ion transport through silica mesopores between droplet compartments. Specific imbibition sequences and precipitation readouts indicated cation‐selective transport across the barriers. Depending on salt identity, barrier, and experimental parameters, ionic transport ranged

Blast‐injured patients often present to healthcare facilities which cannot definitively meet their clinical needs. This clinical practice guideline (CPG) reviews and describes best practice for inter‐facility transfer of casualties in resource limited and conflict‐afflicted contexts where there may not be a formal referral pathway or specialized inter ...

ABSTRACT Clinical phenotypes of atopic dermatitis (AD) can vary, with some individuals displaying difficult‐to‐treat prurigo nodularis‐like lesions. We aimed to assess the real‐world disease burden and treatment course of Japanese adults with AD‐associated prurigo nodules (AD‐Pn) receiving conventional AD treatments.

Riparian forest buffers support biodiversity, ecosystem functioning and food webs in human‐modified landscapes, and dampen land‐use and climate stressors (sediments, nutrients, thermal maxima), motivating their wider use in management. These outcomes were regulated by the presence or size of mostly small, mature buffers and sometimes by proximity among

ABSTRACT A maximum parsimony analysis based on morphological characters (23 taxa; 98 characters; 1951 scorings) was conducted to test the monophyly of Discocyrtulus Roewer, 1927, and to assess its phylogenetic relationships within Gonyleptidae. The results recover the species currently assigned to Discocyrtulus as phylogenetically distant from ...
