Control of Gemcitabine Activity With Blue and Red Light
Chemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 38, 13 October 2026.Treating cancer with chemotherapy is generally associated with many side effects, which can be addressed by selectively releasing the desired drugs with visible light. Sixteen new blue light‐activatable cytostatics were introduced, with the gemcitabine derivative exhibiting ideal properties.
