A Rare RIPK3 Variant Enhances Necroptosis and Promotes Inflammation in a Still Disease–Like Autoinflammatory Syndrome

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective Still disease represents a prototypical polygenic systemic autoinflammatory disease, characterized by recurrent systemic inflammation and dysregulation of innate immunity. Despite extensive clinical characterization, familial clustering Still disease remains unreported.

Efficacy, safety and cost‐effectiveness of CAR‐T therapy

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
CAR T‐cells demonstrate high efficacy in blood cancers, including ALL, MM and DLBCL. Innovations target solid tumours despite challenges such as antigen escape. Combination therapies enhance the delivery and infiltration of CAR T cells. Toxicity, cost and resistance remain major barriers to clinical use.

Non-homogeneous Markov chains with a finite state space and a Doeblin type theorem

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1995
Doeblin [1] considered some classes of finite state nonhomogeneous Markov chains and studied their asymptotic behavior. Later Cohn [2] considered another class of such Markov chains (not covered earlier) and obtained Doeblin type results.

Equivalent Conditions for Irreducibility of Discrete Time Markov Chains [PDF]

open access: yes
We consider discrete time Markov chains on general state space. It is shown that a certain property referred to here as nondecomposability is equivalent to irreducibility, and that a Markov chain with invariant distribution is irreducible if and only if ...

Stochastic monotonicity and duality for one-dimensional Markov processes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The theory of monotonicity and duality is developed for general one-dimensional Feller processes, extending the approach from [11]. Moreover it is shown that local monotonicity conditions (conditions on the Lévy kernel) are sufficient to prove the well-

Quantitative prediction of intravenous drug interactions caused by cytochromes P450 inhibitors and inducers

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Background Aims Pharmacokinetic interaction studies typically focus on oral administration, but intravenous (IV) administration bypasses intestinal degradation and hepatic first‐pass metabolism, leading to distinct drug–drug interaction (DDI) magnitude. This study aimed to develop a predictive model for DDIs involving IV‐administered drugs.

Pregnancy‐related effect on elexacaftor, tezacaftor and ivacaftor pharmacokinetics in women with cystic fibrosis

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Aim The number of pregnancies among women with cystic fibrosis (wwCF) has steadily increased over the past decade. However, the pharmacokinetics (PK) of elexacaftor–tezacaftor–ivacaftor (ETI) during gestation remains uncharacterized, despite its widespread use in this population.

Portfolio optimization by applying Markov chains [PDF]

open access: yesAnali Ekonomskog fakulteta u Subotici, 2018
Since one of the main problems in today's economy is 'conquering the market' or, in other words, finding the best way to predict price movements and receive expected rates of return, this paper will deal with the portfolio optimization in the Belgrade ...

First passage of a Markov additive process and generalized Jordan chains [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we consider the first passage process of a spectrally negative Markov additive process (MAP). The law of this process is uniquely characterized by a certain matrix function, which plays a crucial role in fluctuation theory.

Advances in causal discovery methods for ecological time series

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Recent advances in data collection technologies (e.g. automated sensor networks, satellite remote sensing, and high‐throughput sequencing) have greatly expanded the availability of ecological time series, enabling new opportunities for causal analyses in dynamic ecosystems.
