Air conditioning reliability analysis based on dynamic Bayesian network and Markov model
With the popularization of the air conditioning, its reliability during operation has gradually become a focus of attention. However, due to the uncertainty in the reliability analysis process, the accuracy of the results will be affected.

Modeling Pipeline Driving Behaviors: A Hidden Markov Model Approach [PDF]
Driving behaviors at intersection are complex because drivers have to perceive more traffic events than normal road driving and thus are exposed to more errors with safety consequences. Drivers make real-time responsesin a stochastic manner.

Abstract Anatomy and physiology are foundational to health science education, yet student engagement in these modules often declines during later years of study. This discursive article aims to describe a teaching intervention which increased student engagement and provide educator reflection of implementation and improvement over time.

Risk‐aware safe reinforcement learning for control of stochastic linear systems
Abstract This paper presents a risk‐aware safe reinforcement learning (RL) control design for stochastic discrete‐time linear systems. Rather than using a safety certifier to myopically intervene with the RL controller, a risk‐informed safe controller is also learned besides the RL controller, and the RL and safe controllers are combined together ...

Introduction In recent years, the treatment of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), a rare disease, has significantly progressed, improving patients' survival and overall quality of life. However, current SMA treatments are expensive, and some (nusinersen) are very inconvenient for patients.

Markov or not Markov - this should be a question [PDF]
Although it is well known that Markov process theory, frequently applied in the literature on income convergence, imposes some very restrictive assumptions upon the data generating process, these assumptions have generally been taken for granted so far ...

Efficacy, safety and cost‐effectiveness of CAR‐T therapy
CAR T‐cells demonstrate high efficacy in blood cancers, including ALL, MM and DLBCL. Innovations target solid tumours despite challenges such as antigen escape. Combination therapies enhance the delivery and infiltration of CAR T cells. Toxicity, cost and resistance remain major barriers to clinical use.

Uplink power control via adaptive Hidden-Markov-Model-Based pathloss estimation
Dynamic variations in channel behavior is considered in transmission power control design for cellular radio systems. It is well known that power control increases system capacity, improves Quality of Service (QoS), and reduces multiuser interference. In

Background Aims Pharmacokinetic interaction studies typically focus on oral administration, but intravenous (IV) administration bypasses intestinal degradation and hepatic first‐pass metabolism, leading to distinct drug–drug interaction (DDI) magnitude. This study aimed to develop a predictive model for DDIs involving IV‐administered drugs.
