A Note on the Waiting-Time Distribution in an Infinite-Buffer GI[X]/C-MSP/1 Queueing System
This paper deals with a batch arrival infinite-buffer single server queue. The interbatch arrival times are generally distributed and arrivals are occurring in batches of random size.

ABSTRACT We develop a unified mathematical framework extending classical moment theory from discrete integer orders to a continuous spectrum of real orders f>0$$ f>0 $$, providing a systematic statistical characterization of complex systems exhibiting power‐law behavior.

On identifiability of MAP processes [PDF]
Two types of transitions can be found in the Markovian Arrival process or MAP: with and without arrivals. In transient transitions the chain jumps from one state to another with no arrival; in effective transitions, a single arrival occurs.

Analysis of an MMAP/PH1, PH2/N/∞ queueing system operating in a random environment
A multi-server queueing system with two types of customers and an infinite buffer operating in a random environment as a model of a contact center is investigated. The arrival flow of customers is described by a marked Markovian arrival process.

Queueing Network with Moving Servers as a Model of Car Sharing Systems
We consider a queueing network with a finite number of nodes and servers moving between the nodes as a model of car sharing. The arrival process of customers to various nodes is defined by a marked Markovian arrival process.

A Note on the Dependence Structure of the Two-State Markovian Arrival Process [PDF]
The Markovian arrival process generalizes the Poisson process by allowing for dependent and nonexponential interarrival times. We study the autocorrelation function of the two-state Markovian arrival process. Our findings show that the correlation structure of such a process has a very specific pattern, namely, it always converges geometrically to zero.

ABSTRACT This paper addresses the problem of dynamic output‐feedback H∞$$ {H}_{\infty } $$ detector‐based control for continuous‐time Markov Jump Lur'e Systems with uncertain transition rate matrices. In contrast to conventional approaches, the proposed synthesis conditions are derived using Finsler's lemma, introducing additional slack variables to ...

Integrating Image Segmentation and Deep Learning to Improve Radio Frequency Propagation Models
ABSTRACT This paper proposes a multi‐sensor approach to improve radio frequency (RF) propagation models, which play a key role in the rapidly expanding field of connected vehicle technology. Focusing on the 1‐ to 20‐GHz frequency range, which is critical for both satellite‐to‐vehicle and base station‐to‐vehicle communications, our study introduces a ...

Stability criteria for controlled queueing networks [PDF]
We give criteria for the stability of a very general queueing model under different levels of control. A complete classification of stability (or positive recurrence), transience and null-recurrence is presented for the two queue model. The stability and
