Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.

ABSTRACT Objective Peripheral neuropathies contribute to patient disability but may be diagnosed late or missed altogether due to late referral, limitation of current diagnostic methods and lack of specialized testing facilities. To address this clinical gap, we developed NeuropathAI, an interpretable deep learning–based multiclass classification ...

NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF ASPHALT MIXTURE AND COMPARISON WITH PHYSICAL MARSHALL TEST
This paper addresses simulation of asphalt on the macroscopic scale, using the Discrete Element Model (DEM). Asphalt mixture is considered as a particulate solid composed of relatively stiff deformable layered spherical particles embedded into a homogenised matrix. The discrete model presents a 3D network of one-dimensional elements connecting particle'
