Gaining insights into epigenetic memories through artificial intelligence and omics science in plants. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Integr Plant Biol
This review explores how artificial intelligence and machine learning predict plant behavior in response to environmental stress by modeling molecular regulatory networks of plant stress responses. Their combined application with omics methods opens new avenues in understanding the functioning of plant memory and future plant memory‐based plant ...

Mental Maps of Eastern Europe: States, Mentalities, Modernisation

open access: yesJournal of Historical Sociology, Volume 35, Issue 4, Page 372-388, December 2022., 2022

Rice increases phosphorus uptake in strongly sorbing soils by intra‐root facilitation

open access: yesPlant, Cell &Environment, Volume 45, Issue 3, Page 884-899, March 2022., 2022
Abstract Upland rice (Oryza sativa) is adapted to strongly phosphorus (P) sorbing soils. The mechanisms underlying P acquisition, however, are not well understood, and models typically underestimate uptake. This complicates root ideotype development and trait‐based selection for further improvement.
