Short Abstract This article applies Lefebvre's spatial triad to 34 community gardens in Cape Town's Cape Flats, using semi‐structured interviews and policy analysis to show how gardeners transform neglected land, negotiate planning logics and cultivate cultural identity as everyday acts of spatial justice.
