A Fully Distributed Collection Technology for Mass Simulation Data

2013 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences, 2013
Massive data have been generated in large-scale distributed simulation based on HLA. The data collection in passively subscribing way cannot meet the requirements of data integrity and simulation scalability. Based on the analysis of existing problems, a new fully distributed collection method was proposed.

Rock mass damaging investigation through the analysis of microseismic monitoring data collected on rock masses

2021
<p>Rock mass damaging investigation is a main research topic in the ambit of rock fall hazard assessment. Roads and railways interruptions, as well as damages of buildings, are among the main inconveniences due to the detachment of unstable sectors of highly jointed rock masses.

Data collection in a live mass casualty incident simulation

European Journal of Emergency Medicine, 2012
To demonstrate the applicability and the reliability of a radio frequency identification (RFID) system to collect data during a live exercise.A rooftop collapse of a crowded building was simulated. Fifty-three volunteers were trained to perform as smart victims, simulating clinical conditions, using dynamic data cards, and capturing delay times and ...

Simple modification of a commercial mass spectrometer for metastable data collection

International Journal of Mass Spectrometry and Ion Physics, 1972
Abstract The geometry of a Hitachi Perkin—Elmer RMU-7 double-focusing mass spectrometer was reversed by interchanging the positions of ion source and electron multiplier. The high metastable resolution of the modified instrument (150 for narrow peaks) resulted in 57 new transitions found for n-decane.

Collections of Mass Spectral Data

1979
The newcomer to mass spectrometry, until he has mastered the art of interpreting spectra, leans heavily upon comparisons of his “unknown” spectra with those obtained by others. Even when a spectrum has been interpreted from first principles, it is usually desirable to confirm an identity by spectral comparisons.

Analysis of data collected from increments collected at unequally spaced mass intervals from flowing streams

International Journal of Mineral Processing, 2003
Abstract The present paper considers sampling from a stream of particulate material, where primary sampling units are increments of a specified volume or mass comprising of individual particles of the material sampled. The concepts and methods employed in this area were first developed systematically by Gy [Gy, P., 1982.
