Nonabelian Debye Screening in One-Loop Resummed Perturbation Theory [PDF]
Debye screening of static chromoelectric fields at high temperature is investigated at next-to-leading order through one-loop resummed perturbation theory. At this order the gluon propagator appears to give rise to strong deviations from a Yukawa form of

Dimensional Reduction and Screening Masses in Pure Gauge Theories at Finite Temperature [PDF]
We studied screening masses in the equilibrium thermodynamics of SU(2) and SU(3) pure gauge theories on the lattice. At a temperature of 2 Tc we found strong evidence for dimensional reduction in the non-perturbative spectrum of screening masses.

Hadronic screening masses and the magnetic gluon condensate at high temperature [PDF]
The hadronic screening mass at high temperature ($T$) in QCD$_4$ is examined on the basis of the QCD sum rules in (2+1) dimensions. Due to the magnetic gluon condensate at high $T$ which is expected to be nonvanishing, the screening mass deviates from ...

Screening of Dirac flavor structure in the seesaw and neutrino mixing [PDF]
We consider the mechanism of screening of the Dirac flavor structure in the context of the double seesaw mechanism. As a consequence of screening, the structure of the light neutrino mass matrix, m_\nu, is determined essentially by the structure of the ...

Screening of heavy quark free energies at finite temperature and non-zero baryon chemical potential [PDF]
We analyze the dependence of heavy quark free energies on the baryon chemical potential (mu_b) in 2-flavour QCD using improved (p4) staggered fermions with a bare quark mass of m/T = 0.4.

Attempts to modify gravity in the infrared typically require a screening mechanism to ensure consistency with local tests of gravity. These screening mechanisms fit into three broad classes; we investigate theories which are capable of exhibiting more ...

Evaluation of a Modified STOP-BANG Questionnaire for Sleep Apnea in Adults from the Korean General Population [PDF]
Background and Objective There are few studies assessing diagnostic accuracy of the STOP-BANG questionnaire, which is a screening tool for detecting obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), in the general population.

Advances in high‐throughput mass spectrometry in drug discovery
High‐throughput (HT) screening drug discovery, during which thousands or millions of compounds are screened, remains the key methodology for identifying active chemical matter in early drug discovery pipelines.
