Anatomy of the Higgs mass spectrum [PDF]
We analyze the implications of a Higgs discovery on possible "new-physics" scenarios, for mH up to ~700 GeV. For this purpose we critically review lower and upper limits on the Higgs mass in the SM and in the MSSM, respectively. Furthermore, we discuss the general features of possible "heavy" (mH≳2mZ) Higgs scenarios by means of a simple heavy-fermion ...

We discuss the properties of the pentaquark in a collective stringlike model with a nonplanar configuration of the four quarks and the antiquark. In an application to the mass spectrum of exotic Theta baryons, we find that the ground state pentaquark has angular momentum and parity J(p)=1/2(-) and a small magnetic moment of 0.382 nuclear magnetons. The

A conjectured duality between supergravity and $N=\infty$ gauge theories gives predictions for the glueball masses as eigenvalues for a supergravity wave equations in a black hole geometry, and describes a physics, most relevant to a high-temeperature expansion of a lattice QCD. We present an analytical solution for eigenvalues and eigenfunctions, with

The thermodynamics of the Hagedorn mass spectrum [PDF]
No bootstrap assumption is needed to derive the exponential growth of the Hagedorn hadron mass spectrum: It is a consequence of the second law applied to a relativistic gas, and the relativistic equivalence between inertial mass and its heat content.

Relativistic description of the charmonium mass spectrum [PDF]
The charmonium mass spectrum is considered in the framework of the constituent quark model with the relativistic treatment of the c quark. The obtained masses are in good agreement with the existing experimental data including the mass of eta_c(2S).

Standard Model mass spectrum in inflationary universe
We work out the Standard Model (SM) mass spectrum during inflation with quantum corrections, and explore its observable consequences in the squeezed limit of non-Gaussianity. Both non-Higgs and Higgs inflation models are studied in detail.

Glueball mass spectrum from supergravity [PDF]
We review the calculation of the spectrum of glueball masses in non-supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory using the conjectured duality between supergravity and large N gauge theories.

Black hole mass spectrum vs spectrum of Hawking radiation [PDF]
We consider a massive selfgravitating shell as a model for collapsing body and a null selfgravitating shell as a model for quanta of Hawking radiation. It is show that the mass-energy spectra for the body and the radiation do not match.

Computational method for determining the bound state oscillator frequency [PDF]
Creation and annihilation operator’s method that is associated with the system was proposed to determine the oscillator frequency of the bound system which consists of two or more particles, as a function of the orbital quantum number, which is the main ...
