Parametric Channel Estimation for Massive MIMO [PDF]
Channel state information is crucial to achieving the capacity of multi-antenna (MIMO) wireless communication systems. It requires estimating the channel matrix. This estimation task is studied, considering a sparse channel model particularly suited to millimeter wave propagation, as well as a general measurement model taking into account hybrid ...

Infants and Mobiles: Developing an Understanding of Cause and Effect
ABSTRACT In the mobile conjugate reinforcement paradigm, an infant's leg is connected to a mobile via a string, allowing the infant to move the mobile via moving their leg. Over a few minutes, infants exhibit an increase in the frequency of movement of the connected leg.

Jamming resistant receivers for massive MIMO [PDF]
We design jamming resistant receivers to enhance the robustness of a massive MIMO uplink channel against jamming. In the pilot phase, we estimate not only the desired channel, but also the jamming channel by exploiting purposely unused pilot sequences.

A Joint Channel Modeling, Parameter Estimation and Geometry‐Based Indoor Localization for 5G Systems
We propose an end‐to‐end method to accurately localize mobile stations in indoor scenarios, such as those found in Industry 4.0. To this end, we jointly perform wireless channel modeling considering mmWave and MIMO technologies, parameter estimation in 3D, and simple and fine‐grained geometry‐based localization.

Massive MIMO Optimization With Compatible Sets [PDF]
Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) is expected to be a vital component in future 5G systems. As such, there is a need for new modeling in order to investigate the performance of massive MIMO not only at the physical layer, but also higher up the networking stack.

Review of millimeter‐wave and terahertz near‐field synthetic aperture radar imaging technology
Abstract This paper comprehensively reviews the development of millimeter‐wave (MMW) and terahertz (THz) near‐field imaging technologies, with an emphasis on the state of synthetic aperture radar (SAR)‐based imaging technologies. Near‐field imaging technologies are categorized into passive and active imaging modes, among which active imaging is favored
