Taxonomy of IMT Interference on Aeronautical Systems
Abstract The rapid deployment of 5G and future 6G networks has raised concerns about interference with critical aeronautical systems, particularly radio altimeters and Wireless Avionics Intra‐Communications (WAIC). This paper offers a comprehensive taxonomy of the 5G/6G signal interference mechanisms, operational impacts, and mitigation strategies in ...

Every new network generation needs to make a leap in area data throughput, to manage the growing wireless data traffic. The Massive MIMO technologycan bring at least ten-fold improvements in area throughput by increasing the spec-tral efficiency (bit/s/Hz/cell), while using the same bandwidth and density of basestations as in current networks.

Massive MIMO User Location Based Pilot Allocation in Massive MIMO Systems
Aiming at the problem of massive MIMO pilot contamination, a user location information based pilot allocation scheme is proposed. The proposed scheme sorts the users and assigns pilots in accordance to the polar angle of the user's location in the polar coordinate system with the base station of the cell as the pole.

First Coincident Radar and Optical Observations of a Meteor Radio Afterglow
Abstract It has been hypothesized that Meteor Radio Afterglows (MRAs) occur due to resonant transition radiation (RTR) where suprathermal electrons emit as they pass through electron density inhomogeneities in a turbulent plasma. Meteor trails are thought to produce suprathermal electrons through anion oxidation, which can be identified through meteor ...
