This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Optimizing photoactivation of PA‐mCherry for optical pooled CRISPR screens
Photoactivatable PA‐mCherry finds widespread use to optically tag individual cells. However, confocal 405 nm UV laser‐scanning (normal scan) is much less efficient than widefield UV illumination, limiting the use of PA‐mCherry on confocal instruments. We remedy this limitation by reporting that rapid and repeated confocal scanning with a low‐intensity,

Reconciling wage curve and Phillips curve
The wage curve is the negative relationship that links wage levels to the unemployment rate. It fits accurately with modern non-competitive labour-market models, but goes against a Phillips-curve modelling, because the latter ties wage growth to the ...

Recent Advances in Master Curve Technology
The Master Curve methodology is a statistical, theoretical, micromechanism based, analysis method for fracture toughness in the ductile to brittle transition region. The method, originally developed at VTT Manufacturing Technology" simultaneously account for the scatter, size effects and temperature dependence of fracture toughness. The method has been

Master curves construction for viscoelastic functions of bituminous materials
The performance of bituminous materials is often evaluated using rheological properties measured within the linear viscoelastic region. If there is a univocal temperature dependence of all the relaxation times, data obtained in different operating ...

The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Dynamic shear testing and performance optimisation of waste EPDM modified asphalt binders
The growing demand for cost-effective and sustainable asphalt binder modification has increased interest in waste-derived polymers in hybrid systems. Ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) recovered from end-of-life rubber offers a potential route to ...
