Korner's septum: An uncommon clinical entity
A case of mastoid surgery in which Korner's septum was identified is presented. Identification of this structure is important to make sure complete exenteration of the air cells of mastoid and thus reduce the tendency of recurrent mastoid disease.

ABSTRACT Consideration of Dyke‐Davidoff‐Masson syndrome (DDMS) in patients with epilepsy, hemiparesis, and cognitive impairment should be taken into account. MRI plays a key role in diagnosing this rare disorder by recognizing cerebral hemiatrophy with compensatory skull and sinus hypertrophy.

This study examines vestibular degeneration following head trauma, comparing cases with and without fractures. Histopathological analysis of 26 temporal bones showed more severe damage in nonfracture cases, particularly in Scarpa's ganglion cells and vestibular hair cells.
