Cross-social Network User Identity Matching Based on Fusion Representation Learning [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2018
Aiming at the problems that the existing cross-social network user identity matching algorithm has low accuracy and difficult data acquisition,a new cross-social network user identity matching algorithm is proposed.Using the known matching account nodes ...

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

A field study on matching with network externalities [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the Behavioral and Quantitative Game Theory: Conference on Future Directions, 2010
We study the effects of network externalities within a protocol for matching faculty to offices in a new building. Using web and survey data on faculty's attributes and choices, we identify the different layers of the social network: institutional affiliation, coauthorships, and friendships.

A Parallel-Computing Approach for Vector Road-Network Matching Using GPU Architecture

open access: yesISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, 2018
The road-network matching method is an effective tool for map integration, fusion, and update. Due to the complexity of road networks in the real world, matching methods often contain a series of complicated processes to identify homonymous roads and ...

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Generative Moment Matching Networks

open access: yesCoRR, 2015
We consider the problem of learning deep generative models from data. We formulate a method that generates an independent sample via a single feedforward pass through a multilayer perceptron, as in the recently proposed generative adversarial networks (Goodfellow et al., 2014).

Bond graphs in model matching control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Bond graphs are primarily used in the network modeling of lumped parameter physical systems, but controller design with this graphical technique is relatively unexplored.

Compact Broadband High-Directivity Microstrip Directional Coupler

open access: yesJournal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications
The difference between phase velocities of the odd and even modes in inhomogeneous microstrip coupled lines makes the microstrip directional coupler a poor device regarding directivity. In this work, this issue is successfully compensated by the addition

A High-Efficiency Wideband Power Amplifier Based on a Three-Branch Line Coupler with Open Stubs [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science
A high-efficiency wideband power amplifier (PA) equipped with an output filtering and matching network (OFMN) is presented in this study. Unlike conventional PAs, in which the filtering structure is often positioned after the output matching network, the

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.
