Optimal Matching between Spatial Datasets under Capacity Constraints [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Consider a set of customers (e.g., WiFi receivers) and a set of service providers (e.g., wireless access points), where each provider has a capacity and the quality of service offered to its customers is anti-proportional to their distance.

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Gale-Shapley Matching in an Evolutionary Trade Network Game [PDF]

open access: yes
This study investigates the performance of Gale-Shapley matching in an evolutionary market context. Computational experimental findings are reported for an evolutionary match-and-play trade network game in which resource constrained traders repeatedly ...

Towards more Challenging Problems for Ontology Matching Tools

open access: yes, 2011
We motivate the need for challenging problems in the evaluation of ontology matching tools. To address this need, we propose mapping sets between well-known biomedical ontologies that are based on the UMLS Metathesaurus. These mappings could be used as a

MULTI-GIGABIT PATTERN FOR DATA IN NETWORK SECURITY

open access: yes, 2020
In the current scenario network security is emerging the world. Matching large sets of patterns against an incoming stream of data is a fundamental task in several fields such as network security or computational biology.

Fractional matching preclusion for butterfly derived networks

open access: yesTheory and Applications of Graphs, 2019
The matching preclusion number of a graph is the minimum number of edges whose deletion results in a graph that has neither perfect matchings nor almost perfect matchings.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

GLMNet: Graph Learning-Matching Networks for Feature Matching

open access: yesCoRR, 2019
Recently, graph convolutional networks (GCNs) have shown great potential for the task of graph matching. It can integrate graph node feature embedding, node-wise affinity learning and matching optimization together in a unified end-to-end model. One important aspect of graph matching is the construction of two matching graphs.

Matching Services with Users in Opportunistic Network Environments

open access: yes, 2014
Opportunistic Networks are a specific type of wireless ad hoc network where there is an absence of a continuous end-to-end path. The proliferation of mobile devices with Wi-Fi capability creates opportunities to forward packets by utilizing nodes as they
