International Librarians Network Participant Matching Script

open access: yes, 2018
Over four years, the International Librarians Network (ILN) provided free online peer-mentoring to over 5,500 participants from 130 countries. Participants used the program to explore the international world of librarianship, building global networks and

Progressive Graph Matching Network for Correspondences

open access: yes, 2023
This paper presents a progressive graph matching network shorted as PGMNet. The method is more explainable and can match features from easy to hard. PGMNet contains two major blocks: sinkformers module and guided attention module.

Social Games: Matching and the Play of Finitely Repeated Games [PDF]

open access: yes
We examine a new class of games, which we call social games, where players not only choose strategies but also choose with whom they play. A group of players who are dissatisfied with the play of their current partners can join together and play a new ...

Inhibition of cyclin‐dependent kinases 12/13 using CT7439 as a treatment for colorectal cancer with CDK12 upregulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Design of Internal Wire-Based Impedance Matching of Helical Antennas Using an Equivalent Thin-Wire Model

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2017
We propose a novel design of internal impedance matching networks for axial-mode helical antennas. This network comprises a single wire attached to the helix.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

A Flexible Pattern-Matching Algorithm for Network Intrusion Detection Systems Using Multi-Core Processors

open access: yes, 2017
As part of network security processes, network intrusion detection systems (NIDSs) determine whether incoming packets contain malicious patterns. Pattern matching, the key NIDS component, consumes large amounts of execution time.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...
