USe3 is introduced as an actinide van der Waals semiconductor that mirrors the quasi‐one‐dimensional physics of transition‐metal trichalcogenides. Polarization‐resolved Raman spectroscopy on exfoliated flakes maps strong in‐plane phonon anisotropy and strain‐tunable mode shifts.

Critical dynamics of holographic superfluids
We study the nearly critical behaviour of holographic superfluids at finite temperature and chemical potential. Using analytic techniques in the bulk, we derive an effective theory for the long wavelength dynamics of gapless and pseudo-gapped modes, at ...

The Holling Type II Population Model Subjected to Rapid Random Attacks of Predator
We present the analysis of a mathematical model of the dynamics of interacting predator and prey populations with the Holling type random trophic function under the assumption of random time interval passage between predator attacks on prey. We propose a

Hafnium zirconium oxide thin films are grown using plasma‐enhanced atomic layer deposition with the addition of an atomic layer annealing (ALA) step. ALA leads to a change in the short‐range structure of the deposit and encourages formation of the ferroelectric Pca21 phase. The result is wake‐up‐free performance with films exposed to ALA.

An Alhagi maurorum inspired hierarchical composite membrane (NFCu) was developed by integrating heavy metal remediation and solar‐driven interfacial evaporation in a single platform. Beyond the photothermal effect, a localized photocatalytic process is realized on the CuO surface, deepening the mechanistic understanding of light–matter–water ...

This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

A Mathematical Theory of Understanding
Generative AI has transformed the economics of information production, making explanations, proofs, examples, and analyses available at very low cost. Yet the value of information still depends on whether downstream users can absorb and act on it. A signal conveys meaning only to a learner with the structural capacity to decode it: an explanation that ...

Limits to the Hall Effect and Other Nonreciprocal Effects in Three‐Dimensional Metamaterials
Comprehensive and fundamental bounds on nonreciprocal effects in three‐dimensional metamaterials are derived. They reveal that the effective Hall mobility cannot exceed the largest constituent mobility, that, under certain conditions, the Verdet constant cannot be enhanced, and that, for constituents with Hall coefficients of the same sign, the largest
