Numerical Models of Cosmological Evolution of the Degenerated Fermi-system of Scalar Charged Particles

open access: yes, 2014
Based on mathematical model of the statistical Fermi system with the interparticle interaction which was constructed in the previous articles, this work offers the construction and analysis of the numerical models of cosmological evolution of the single ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Test of an Analytic, Finite, Non-Perturbative, Gauge-Invariant QCD formulation against elastic pp scattering at the ISR energies

open access: yes, 2017
A recent QCD formulation that is non-perturbative, finite, gauge-invariant, exact emerged from Schwinger's Generating Functional. A first test of the validity of this formulation is provided here against elastic proton-proton scattering at the ...

Conservative stochastic differential equations: Mathematical and numerical analysis [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics of Computation, 2009
We consider stochastic differential equations on the whole Euclidean space possessing a scalar invariant along their solutions. The stochastic dynamics therefore evolves on a hypersurface of the ambient space. Using orthogonal coordinate systems, we show the existence and uniqueness of smooth solutions of the Kolmogorov equation under some ellipticity ...

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Mathematical and numerical analysis of a stratigraphic model [PDF]

open access: yesESAIM: Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Analysis, 2004
Summary: We consider a multi-lithology diffusion model used in stratigraphic modelling to simulate large scale transport processes of sediments described as a mixture of \(L\) lithologies. This model is a simplified one for which the surficial fluxes are proportional to the slope of the topography and to a lithology fraction with unitary diffusion ...
