Statistical and mathematical analyses
1983Statistical analyses are fundamental to all scientific disciplines, but are also the most complex aspect of any such study. This arises only in part from the apparent complexity of the formulae, and is mainly due to the requirement for an understanding of both the statistical and physical assumptions that are implicit in such analyses.
