Evolution of matrinic ethanol derivatives as anti-HCV agents from matrine skeleton

Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters, 2017
Twenty-two novel 12N-substituted matrinic ethanol derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for their antiviral activities against HCV taking compound 1 as the lead. The SAR study indicated that the shortening of the 11-butyl chain to ethyl chain did not affect the activity significantly. Out of the target compounds, matrinic ethanol 6a demonstrated a

An x-ray structural investigation of cis-matrine — A new stereoisomer of matrine

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 1981
In an investigation of the three-dimensional structure of the alkaloid matrine by x-ray structural analysis, a new stereoisomer of it has been detected, which has been called cis-matrine. In cis-matrine rings C and D are cis-linked, while the configurations of the A, B, and C fragments in cis-matrine and in ordinary matrine are identical.

Stereoisomerism of the matrine alkaloids

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 1982
The stereoisomerism of compounds of the matrine series is considered on the basis of the authors' own x-ray structural studies of these alkaloids. A corrected series of eight stereoisomers has been drawn up. It has been shown that the numbers of theoretically possible stereoisomers of matrine is thirty-two.

[HPCE determination of matrine in matrine liposome].

Zhong yao cai = Zhongyaocai = Journal of Chinese medicinal materials, 2007
To establish an HPCE method for the determination of matrine in Matrine Liposome.HPCE was used. The best condition was achieved with a fused silica capillary tube( 150 cm x 75 microm), 0.25 mol/L phosphate buffer (pH 6.8), at constant voltage of 20 kV and temperature at 25 degrees C.

Ocular Anti-Inflammatory Actions of Matrine

Journal of Ocular Pharmacology and Therapeutics, 1987
Matrine is an alkaloid isolated from the root of Sophora subprostrata (Leguminosae) which has been used as a Chinese medicine for the treatment of inflammation. Instillation of 50 microliter of 1% matrine showed significant inhibition of ocular inflammation induced by lens proteins. Unlike corticosteroids, matrine did not facilitate the IOP recovery in

Matrine-imprinted monolithic stationary phase for extraction and purification of matrine from Sophorae flavescentis Ait

Journal of Chromatography B, 2011
A matrine-imprinted monolithic stationary phase (MIP monolith) was prepared by in situ polymerization for extraction and purification of matrine from Sophorae flavescentis Ait. Matrine was used as the template molecule, methacrylic acid as the function monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the cross-linking agent, and toluene and dodecanol as the ...

Anticancer Advances of Matrine and Its Derivatives

Current Pharmaceutical Design, 2015
As the second leading cause of death in the world, the total number caused by cancer in 2008 is 1.4 million. The great cancer incidence worldwide increases the search for new, safer and efficient anticancer agents (especially to find the new structures and more active anticancer drugs from the natural products) aiming the prevention or the cure of such
