Bounds for the zeros of unilateral octonionic polynomials

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2021
In the present work it is proved that the zeros of a unilateral octonionic polynomial belong to the conjugacy classes of the latent roots of an appropriate lambda-matrix.

A class of cosmological matrix models [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2005
We discuss a class of matrix models describing cosmology with a light-like singularity, generalizing the model proposed by Craps et al. in hep-th/0506180.

Nonnegative Combined Matrices

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
The combined matrix of a nonsingular real matrix A is the Hadamard (entrywise) product A∘A-1T. It is well known that row (column) sums of combined matrices are constant and equal to one. Recently, some results on combined matrices of different classes of

The fuzzification of mathematical matrix in the environmental impact assessment of steel industry, Ghayen, Iran [PDF]

open access: yesComputational Ecology and Software, 2020
Ghayenat steel complex is located in South Khorasan province near the Nimbolook city. In this research, the interactions between basic and supplementary criteria are evaluated using a mathematical matrix.

Loewner Interpolation in Matrix Hardy Classes

open access: yesZeitschrift für Analysis und ihre Anwendungen, 1995
We study a Loewner type interpolation problem in the framework of matrix-valued \mathbb H_2 functions. We establish a necessary and sufficient condition for a matrix-valued function given on an arc of circle to be the trace of such an

Odd and even Lidstone-type polynomial sequences. Part 1: basic topics

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2018
Two new general classes of polynomial sequences called respectively odd and even Lidstone-type polynomials are considered. These classes include classic Lidstone polynomials of first and second kind.

GAPS BETWEEN CLASSES OF MATRIX MONOTONE FUNCTIONS [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, 2003
We prove the existence of gaps between all the different classes of matrix monotone functions defined on an interval, provided the interval is non trivial and different from the whole real line. We then show how matrix monotone functions may be used in the characterization of certain C*-algebras as an alternative to the study of the matricial structure

Supervised Collaborative Filtering Based on Ridge Alternating Least Squares and Iterative Projection Pursuit

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
This paper presents a supervised data imputation based on the class-dependent matrix factors, which are generated during matrix factorization. The proposed ridge alternating least squares imputation uses class information to create substituted values ...

Symmetry Classification and Universality in Non-Hermitian Many-Body Quantum Chaos by the Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev Model

open access: yesPhysical Review X, 2022
Spectral correlations are a powerful tool to study the dynamics of quantum many-body systems. For Hermitian Hamiltonians, quantum chaotic motion is related to random matrix theory spectral correlations.
