Computing the Permanent of the Laplacian Matrices of Nonbipartite Graphs

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
Let G be a graph with Laplacian matrix LG. Denote by per LG the permanent of LG. In this study, we investigate the problem of computing the permanent of the Laplacian matrix of nonbipartite graphs.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Characterizations of Matrix and Compact Operators on BK Spaces

open access: yesUniversal Journal of Mathematics and Applications, 2023
In the present paper, by estimating operator norms, we give some characterizations of infinite matrix classes $\left( \left\vert E_{\mu }^{r}\right\vert _{q},\Lambda\right) $ and $\left( \left\vert E_{\mu }^{r}\right\vert _{\infty },\Lambda\right ...

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Tumor mutational burden as a determinant of metastatic dissemination patterns

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study performed a comprehensive analysis of genomic data to elucidate whether metastasis in certain organs share genetic characteristics regardless of cancer type. No robust mutational patterns were identified across different metastatic locations and cancer types.

Inventory and compatibility of marine cadastre in the marine conservation area zoning (case study: Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Park)

open access: yesDepik Jurnal
This quantitative research presents the classification of marine cadastres in the marine conservation area of Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Park. The marine cadastre classes were analyzed for their alignment with the marine management classes/blocks in the ...

Language classes associated with automata over matrix groups [PDF]

open access: yesRAIRO - Theoretical Informatics and Applications, 2018
We investigate the language classes recognized by group automata over matrix groups. For the case of 2 × 2 matrices, we prove that the corresponding group automata for rational matrix groups are more powerful than the corresponding group automata for integer matrix groups. Finite automata over some special matrix groups, such as the discrete Heisenberg
