Refinements of Kantorovich Inequality for Hermitian Matrices
Some new Kantorovich-type inequalities for Hermitian matrix are proposed in this paper. We consider what happens to these inequalities when the positive definite matrix is allowed to be invertible and provides refinements of the classical results.

Refined Upper Solution Bound of the Continuous Coupled Algebraic Riccati Equation
The continuous coupled algebraic Riccati equation (CCARE) has wide applications in control theory and linear systems. In this paper, by a constructed positive semidefinite matrix, matrix inequalities, and matrix eigenvalue inequalities, we propose a new ...

The author proves that, if \(A\), \(B\) are positive semidefinite \(m\times m\) matrices, then \(0\leq\text{tr}(AB)^n\leq (\text{tr} A)^n(\text{tr} B)^n\) for every positive integer \(n\). This is deduced from two more elaborate inequalities \[ \begin{aligned} & 0\leq \text{tr}(AB)^{2n}\leq (\text{tr} A)^2(\text{tr }A^2)^{n-1}(\text{tr} B^2)^n,\\ & 0 ...

Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...

The paper reproves the arithmetic-geometric mean inequality of \textit{R. Bhatia} and \textit{F. Kittaneh} [SIAM J. Matrix Anal. Appl. 11, No. 2, 272--277 (1990; Zbl 0704.47014)] in two equivalent versions via Weyl's monotonicity principle and a cleverly designed block matrix representaion for the inequality. The arithmetic-geometric mean inequality is

Further subadditive matrix inequalities [PDF]
Matrix inequalities that extend certain scalar ones have been at the center of numerous researchers' attention. In this article, we explore the celebrated subadditive inequality for matrices via concave functions and present a reversed version of this result.

A codesign multiobjective optimization framework was developed to enhance the morphology and controller of a snake‐like robot driven by artificial muscles. It improved planar locomotion, agility, and power efficiency. The approach optimized link geometry and controller gains, revealing that shorter muscles near joints and longer linkages maximize ...

New norm equalities and inequalities for operator matrices
We prove new inequalities for general 2 × 2 $2\times2$ operator matrices. These inequalities, which are based on classical convexity inequalities, generalize earlier inequalities for sums of operators. Some other related results are also presented. Also,
