Electrodialytic Ion Isolation for Matrix Removal
Analytical Chemistry, 2012We report a fully automated online sample pretreatment system for ionic analytes that extracts the ionic analytes from the sample and largely removes the nonionic sample matrix and can preconcentrate the analyte. Sample pretreatment is a key analytical process; conventional pretreatment is conducted in a difficult to automate batchwise manner.

Electrodialytic matrix isolation for metal cations
Talanta, 2015Electrodialytic ion transfer was studied as a matrix isolation tool for heavy metal determinations. An ion transfer device (ITD) was used for the transfer of heavy metal cations. Under optimized flow rates applied voltage and receptor composition, heavy metal ions were quantitatively transferred at concentrations spanning µg L(-1) to mg L(-1).

On the structure of the matrix isolated water trimer
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2011Infrared spectra of partially deuterated water trimers have been investigated. It is found that HDO(H2O)2 has a single, bound OD stretching fundamental, (HDO)2H2O two bound OD stretches. (HDO)3 has a single, bound OD stretch and (H2O)3 has a pair of bound OH stretches.

The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2007The photochemistry of 3-iodo-2,4,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl azide 8 and 3,5-diiodo-2,4,6-trifluorophenyl azide 9 was studied by IR and EPR spectroscopy in cryogenic argon and neon matrices. Both compounds form the corresponding nitrenes as primary photoproducts in photostationary equilibria with their azirine and ketenimine isomers.

Pair Association in Matrix Isolated Pyridine
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1970Absorption spectra of pyridine-H5 in frozen nitrogen exhibit concentration dependent sidebands due to pairwise interactions in the Λ10 region at 606 and 607.5 cm−1, in the Λ26 region at 706 and 709 cm−1, and in the Λ14 region at 1442 and 1443 cm−1. For pyridine-D5 pair absorption bands were observed at 584.5, 586(Λ10), 533, 535(Λ26).
