Wear Analysis of Friction Stir Processed AA7075-SiC-Graphite Hybrid Surface Composites
High specific strength and superior corrosion resistance are two key characteristics of the aerospace grade AA7075-T6 alloy. However, the surface behavior of AA7075-T6 is found to be deprived, because of its behavior of being prone to fretting fatigue ...

Origin of Negative Density and Modulus in Acoustic Metamaterials
This paper provides a review and fundamental physical interpretation for the effective densities and moduli of acoustic metamaterials. We introduce the terminology of hidden force and hidden source of volume: the effective density or modulus is negative ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Spinon-holon interactions in an anisotropic t-J chain: a comprehensive study
We consider a generalization of the one-dimensional t-J model with anisotropic spin-spin interactions. We show that the anisotropy leads to an effective attractive interaction between the spinon and holon excitations, resulting in a localized bound state.

Symmetry characterization of the collective modes of the phase diagram of the $\nu=0$ quantum Hall state in graphene: Mean-field and spontaneously broken symmetries [PDF]
We devote this work to the study of the mean-field phase diagram of the $\nu=0$ quantum Hall state in bilayer graphene and the computation of the corresponding neutral collective modes, extending the results of recent works in the literature ...

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Enhancing comigration-ability of Mg2Sn particles with Mg matrix via interphase segregation of Zn
This study investigates the impact of Zn alloying on the dispersion of the reinforcing particle in Mg2Sn/Mg composites. In the composite, Zn manifests in three distinct forms: Zn segregation layer between MgMg2Sn, the solid solution and the MgZn2 phase.
