Markup Centrality and International Incidence in Global Production Networks
ABSTRACT This paper develops a framework to measure how markups amplify prices through global production networks and to attribute final‐demand price wedges to upstream country‐industry sources. The approach defines a compound markup as the ratio of observed prices to counterfactual pure‐cost prices that would prevail if all markups in the network were

Rational points on even‐dimensional Fermat cubics
Abstract We show that even‐dimensional Fermat cubic hypersurfaces are rational over any field of characteristic not equal to three, by constructing explicit rational parameterizations with polynomials of low degree. As a byproduct of our rationality constructions, we obtain estimates for the number of their rational points over a number field and ...

ANALYSIS OF THREE SERVERS CLOSED SERIES QUEUING NETWORK WITH DELAY TIME USING MAX-PLUS ALGEBRA
Max-Plus Algebra, which is the union of the set of all real numbers with an infinite singleton, equipped with maximum (max) and plus (+) operations, can be used to model and analyze algebraically the dynamics of a closed queuing network.

Control Problem in Max Plus Linear Model with Temporal Constraints
This article deals with the control of discrete event systems subject to synchronization and delay phenomena, described by a plus max linear model. The temporal constraints are imposed on the state space of the system.

Invariant Measure and Universality of the 2D Yang–Mills Langevin Dynamic
ABSTRACT We prove that the Yang–Mills (YM) measure for the trivial principal bundle over the two‐dimensional torus, with any connected, compact structure group, is invariant for the associated renormalised Langevin dynamic. Our argument relies on a combination of regularity structures, lattice gauge‐fixing and Bourgain's method for invariant measures ...

Modelling of continuous low‐temperature emulsion co‐polymerization in 3D‐printed reactor
A kinetic model for the emulsion copolymerization of butyl acrylate/styrene at low temperatures is proposed and validated against experiments with a redox initiator system. The model was successfully transferred to a 3D‐printed tubular reactor and conversions of more than 80% and small particles sizes below 40 nm were observed.
