Haemangioma involving the paranasal air sinuses is rare. It presents with severe epistaxis or bleeding due to dental extraction and may mimic malignancy. A case of haemangioma of the maxilla is presented and the diagnostic and operative difficulties together with a review of literature are discussed.

Osteoradionecrosis of maxillae
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 1978A case of osteoradionecrosis of the maxilla has been presented. It is hoped that this review and discussion of osteomyelitis and osteoradionecrosis will point out the need for proper management of the dentition of cancer patients who are subjected to radiotherapy.

This article presents a case report of an intraoral teratoma in an 11-year-old boy. The tumor contained cartilage, smooth muscle, respiratory epithelium, brain, and skeletal muscle. Two adjacent cervical lymph nodes exhibited reactive changes, but another had been largely replaced by brain tissue.

A case of leiomyosarcoma in the maxilla is presented together with a review of the literature. The most commonly encountered symptom at the early stage of oral leiomyosarcoma is a slowly enlarging, nonulcerated and painless mass. This tumor shows high incidence of local recurrence or metastasis, and poor prognosis.

Abstract An unusual case of lymphosarcoma of the maxilla in a 39-year-old white man has been reported. The difficulty of arriving at an accurate pathologic diagnosis with small biopsy specimens has been described, and the method of treatment has been presented.

A clinically appearing, well‐encapsulated lipoma was locally excised from the right posterior upper buccal gingival sulcus of a 24‐year‐old man and diagnosed histologically as pleomorphic liposarcoma. A right maxillectomy with preservation of orbital function was followed by 5,000 rads of planned postoperative radiation therapy.
