Arginine methylation as a regulatory ratchet in cancer: From substrate selection to malignant‐state stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Arginine methylation can be viewed as a persistence‐prone post‐translational modification regulated by a network of PRMTs. Competitive and compensatory interactions among PRMTs can redistribute methylation across substrate pools shaped by sequence, structural, spatial, and environmental layers, reinforcing RNA‐processing, chromatin, and signaling ...

On the convergence of Fourier series

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1984
We define the space Bp={f:(−π,π]→R,   f(t)=∑n=0∞cnbn(t),   ∑n=0∞|cn|

Generalized Non-Homogeneous Morrey Spaces And Olsen Inequality [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In this paper, we shall discuss some properties of generalized non-homogeneous Morrey spaces. In addition, we will also prove the Olsen inequality in the non-homogeneous setting.

On the measure of non‐compactness of maximal operators

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2004
In one of the previous articles of the author it was proved that if B is a convex quasi‐density measurable basis and E is a symmetric space on with respect to the Lebesgue measure, then there do not exist non‐orthogonal weights w and v for which the maximal operator MB corresponding to B acts compactly from the weight space Ew to the weight space Ev ...

Profiling neoadjuvant therapy response in rectal cancer using meta‐analysis of publicly available transcriptomic RNA‐seq datasets

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates publicly available transcriptomic datasets to identify molecular signatures associated with response to neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy in locally advanced rectal cancer. By analyzing a combination of multiple cohorts with bioinformatics approaches, we reveal biological pathways and immune‐related features that may improve ...

Morrey Spaces for Nonhomogeneous Metric Measure Spaces

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
The authors give a definition of Morrey spaces for nonhomogeneous metric measure spaces and investigate the boundedness of some classical operators including maximal operator, fractional integral operator, and Marcinkiewicz integral operators.

Boundedness of the maximal operator in the local Morrey-Lorentz spaces

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper we define a new class of functions called local Morrey-Lorentz spaces Mp,q;λloc(Rn ...

Maximal operator in H\"older spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
We study the maximal operator on the variable exponent H\"older spaces in the setting of metric measure spaces. The boundedness is proven for metric measure spaces satisfying an annular decay property.

Predictive and prognostic biomarkers of Bacillus Calmette‐Guérin therapy failure in bladder cancer patients: A systematic review

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
High‐risk bladder cancer is typically treated with Bacillus Calmette‐Guérin (BCG), but 30–40% of patients relapse. No FDA‐ or CE‐approved biomarkers currently predict or prognosticate BCG failure. We systematically reviewed the literature and identified 72 eligible studies, revealing several promising biomarkers associated with BCG treatment response ...

Dunkl Translation and Uncentered Maximal Operator on the Real Line

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2007
We establish estimates of the Dunkl translation of the characteristic function χ[−ɛ,ɛ], ɛ>0, and we prove that the uncentered maximal operator associated with the Dunkl operator is of weak type (1,1).
