Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

Estimating maximal symmetries of regression functions via subgroup lattices
We present a method for estimating the maximal symmetry of a continuous regression function. Knowledge of such a symmetry can be used to significantly improve modelling by removing the modes of variation resulting from the symmetries. Symmetry estimation

Finite groups with some SS-embedded subgroups [PDF]
We call H an SS-embedded subgroup of G if there exists a normal subgroup T of G such that HT is subnormal in G and Hcap Tleq H_{sG}, where H_{sG} is the maximal s-permutable subgroup of G contained in H.

An Approach to Deriving Maximal Invariant Statistics
Invariance principles is one of the ways to summarize sample information and by these principles invariance or equivariance decision rules are used. In this paper, first, the methods for finding the maximal invariant function are introduced.

Notes on influence of certain permutable subgroups on finite smooth groups [PDF]
A maximal chain of a finite group $G$ is called smooth if any two intervals have the same length are isomorphic. A group $G$ is called totally smooth if all maximal chains of $G$ are smooth, and called generalized smooth if all chains from each subgroup ...

ABSTRACT Objective Stereoelectroencephalography‐guided radiofrequency thermocoagulation (SEEG‐RFTC) has emerged as a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment for children with drug‐resistant focal epilepsy. Although evidence from real‐world studies remains limited, numerous pediatric cases have demonstrated promising outcomes. This retrospective

The Role of Calcitonin Gene‐Related Peptide in High‐Altitude Headache: A Prospective Field Study
ABSTRACT Objective High‐altitude headache (HAH) is a common neurological condition associated with rapid ascent to high altitude. The pathophysiological mechanisms underlying HAH remain incompletely understood. Calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP), a neuropeptide implicated in migraine pathophysiology, may play a key role in the pathophysiology of ...

The Parameter Space of Orbits of a Maximal Compact Subgroup Acting on a Flag Manifold
The orbits of a real form G of a complex semisimple Lie group GC and those of the complexification KC of its maximal compact subgroup K acting on Z=GC/Q, a homogeneous, algebraic, GC-manifold, are finite. Consequently, there is an open G-orbit.

ABSTRACT Objective High‐resolution MRI enables detailed assessment of intracranial vessel wall pathology in moyamoya vasculopathy. We aimed to classify adult moyamoya vasculopathy etiologies using high‐resolution MRI and to examine subtype‐specific associations between high‐resolution MRI features and ischemic infarction.

ABSTRACT Background X‐linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X‐ALD) is a neurometabolic disorder caused by pathogenic variants in ABCD1, leading to slowly progressive spinal cord disease in nearly all affected men. Sensitive biomarkers to quantify disease severity and predict progression are needed for clinical care and trial design.
