Sparse Vertex Cutsets and the Maximum Degree
We show that every graph $G$ of maximum degree $\Delta$ and sufficiently large order has a vertex cutset $S$ of order at most $\Delta$ that induces a subgraph $G[S]$ of maximum degree at most $\Delta-3$. For $\Delta\in \{ 4,5\}$, we refine this result by considering also the average degree of $G[S]$.

ABSTRACT Pediatric supportive care clinical trials often involve multiple clinically important outcomes, complicating trial interpretation. Hierarchical composite endpoints (HCEs) provide a framework to integrate key outcomes according to clinical importance.

Total vertex irregularity strength of trees with maximum degree five
In 2010, Nurdin, Baskoro, Salman and Gaos conjectured that the total vertex irregularity strength of any tree T is determined only by the number of vertices of degrees 1, 2 and 3 in T. This paper will confirm this conjecture by considering all trees with

Determining Parental Factors for Clinical Trial Attrition in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Despite high enrollment rates on Children's Oncology Group (COG) protocols, attrition after initial consent is challenging, introducing bias and prolonging trial completion. While adult oncology literature has identified predictors of withdrawal, little is known about caregiver decision‐making for child participation in ...

ABSTRACT Blinatumomab, a CD19xCD3 bispecific T‐cell engager, has become standard therapy for children with de novo B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL). This retrospective review describes the experience of blinatumomab administration in pediatric patients.

On some covering graphs of a graph
For a graph $G$ with vertex set $V(G)=\{v_1, v_2, \dots, v_n\}$, let $S$ be the covering set of $G$ having the maximum degree over all the minimum covering sets of $G$.

ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) has undergone major changes in the last decades. Its prevalence has been steadily increasing and numerous advances have been made in the management of the disease. However, the effect in real‐life setting of these major changes is unknown, particularly in a Canadian environment. Procedure We aimed to assess
