A Dislocation Perspective on Strength and Toughness in Ceramics
Dislocations in ceramics enjoy a long but yet under‐appreciated history. The three research waves for dislocations in ceramics highlight the topic evolution over the last 90 years. This review focuses on the impact of dislocation on strength and toughness in ceramics.

Neural network models for solving the maximum flow problem
In this paper, two new neural network models for solving the maximum flow problem are presented. The maximum flow problem in networks is formulated as a special type of linear programming problem and it is solved by appropriately defined neural networks.

Improvement of Nemhauser-Trotter Theorem and its applications in parametrized complexity
Let A and B be two sets of n resp. m disjoint unit disks in the plane, with m n. We consider the problem of finding a translation or rigid motion of A that maximizes the total area of overlap with B.

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Hybrid Stochastic and Interval Power Flow Considering Uncertain Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power
It is an important means for knowing something about the influence of uncertain factors on the power flow state to calculate uncertain power flow. In this paper, the uncertain power flow problem considering wind power and photovoltaic power generation is

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...

The Problem of Integer-valued Balancing of a Three-dimensional Matrix and Network Model
The article is devoted to the problem of integer-valued balancing of a three-dimensional matrix. A problem of reducing this problem to the problem of finding a maximum flow in network is explored.

A polynomial algorithm for special case of the one-machine scheduling problem with time-lags [PDF]
The standard one-machine scheduling problem consists in scheduling a set of jobs in one machine which can handle only one job at a time, minimizing the maximum lateness.
