Maximum Power Point Tracking using artificial intelligence

2014 3rd International Conference on the Developments in Renewable Energy Technology (ICDRET), 2014
The photovoltaic systems are increasingly popular as green energy due to energy crisis and environmental issue. The PV arrays are still costly, and to make them cost-effective they are required to operate with maximum efficiency irrespective of temperature, solar irradiance and load condition.

An interleaved converter with maximum power point tracking

2017 International Conference on Intelligent Computing, Instrumentation and Control Technologies (ICICICT), 2017
This paper, discusses a non isolated boost converter with high step up gain with an MPPT controller. The converter is meant to be used as an interface between photovoltaic panels and the utility grid. The solar panel or array without an MPPT results in wasted power and number of solar panel needed to be installed increases.

Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Algorithms for Photovoltaic Systems

2017
The solar energy have become a challenging area among other renewable energy sources (RESs) since the photovoltaic (PV) systems have the advantages of not causing pollution, having low maintenance, and long-lasting operation life. Besides these advantages, a PV system has several drawbacks such as considerably higher installation cost comparing some ...

Maximum power point tracking for solar panels

2019
Approximately one-half of the loss of delivered power from a solar panel having photovoltaic (PV) cells connected in series to form sub-panels due to shading is recovered at low hardware cost by connecting sub-panels in series and providing maximum power point tracking control in common for the series connected sub-panels such that the respective sub ...
