Ecol EvolMore than 60% of Serra do Amolar within the Pantanal Wetlands, Brazil, was burned in 2020. Nine vertebrate species showed a dependency on forest areas, which are more vulnerable to fires in this region, despite the fire not having shown a direct effect on the occupation.
