Partial Equalization for MC–CDMA Systems in Non-Ideally Estimated Correlated Fading
Multicarrier code-division multiple access (MC–CDMA) can support high data rates in next-generation multiuser wireless communication systems. Partial equalization (PE) is a low-complexity technique for combining the signals of subcarriers to improve the ...

Investigating the relation between optimum guard interval and channel delay spread for a MC-CDMA system [PDF]
This paper demonstrates a novel approach to determining the optimum guard interval for a multicarrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) system. Analytical expressions for useful and interference power are derived as a basis for comparison.

MC-biquandles and MC-biquandle coloring quivers
We introduce the notion of mc-biquandles, algebraic structures which have possibly distinct biquandle operations at single-component and multi-component crossings. These structures provide computable homset invariants for classical and virtual links.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Performance Improvement of Downlink MC-CDMA Cellular System with an Intermittent Transmission [PDF]
Throughput performance of MC-CDMA systems depends on the success in managing interference arising from intercell transmission. In this paper, we propose a new intercell interference mitigation scheme for downlink MC-CDMA scheme. In the proposed scheme, a
