The Design and Process Reliability Analysis of Millimeter Wave CMOS Power Amplifier with a Cold Mode MOSFET Linearization

open access: yesIET Circuits, Devices &Systems, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
A power amplifier design operating at 28 GHz for communication applications is presented in this paper. Analog predistorted technique is used to improve the linearity using a cold mode MOSFET linearizer. The paper reports +19.8 dBm of peak power at the output and power‐added efficiency (PAE) of 17% is attained by the designed circuit.

Joint Transfer Extreme Learning Machine with Cross‐Domain Mean Approximation and Output Weight Alignment

open access: yesComplexity, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
With fast learning speed and high accuracy, extreme learning machine (ELM) has achieved great success in pattern recognition and machine learning. Unfortunately, it will fail in the circumstance where plenty of labeled samples for training model are insufficient. The labeled samples are difficult to obtain due to their high cost.

Optimizing Nonlinear Distortion and Interference in MC‐CDMA Receivers Employing Deep Neural Networks

open access: yesMobile Information Systems, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
Systems that employ multicarrier code division multiple access, commonly known as MC‐CDMA, produce outstanding results in terms of both the performance of the system as a whole and the efficiency with which it uses the spectrum. However, multiple access strategies are susceptible to interference despite their high spectrum efficiency. This work aims to

Ultrawideband LNA 1960–2019: Review

open access: yesIET Circuits, Devices &Systems, Volume 15, Issue 8, Page 697-727, November 2021., 2021
Abstract To the best of the author's knowledge, several studies during 1960–2019 were carried out on wideband and ultrawideband LNAs just to render optimum LNAs for SAW‐less Radio‐Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFICs) but none of these works reviewed and taught the proceedings of these six decades, hence the lack of a comprehensive review is quite ...

Effects of electromagnetic fields on neuronal ion channels: a systematic review

open access: yesAnnals of the New York Academy of Sciences, Volume 1499, Issue 1, Page 82-103, September 2021., 2021
This work aims to systematically review published evidence in the last two decades detailing the effects of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) on neuronal ion channels as per the PRISM guidelines. Here, we systematically clarify how neuronal ion channels are particularly affected and differentially modulated by EMFs at multiple levels, such as gating ...

Robust or nonrobust: On MC-DS-CDMA acquisition in LEO satellite communications

open access: yesDigital Communications and Networks, 2023
Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communications can provide global coverage in the sixth generation communication (6G) networks. To combat the strong Partial Band Interferences (PBIs) and multipath fading in LEO satellite communication systems, the Multicarrier Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (MC-DS-CDMA) technique is a promising ...
