Accurate BER of MC-DS-CDMA over Rayleigh fading channels [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In this paper, we derive an accurate average bit error rate (BER) of Rayleigh faded MC-DS-CDMA in the context of asynchronous transmission and random spreading sequences. The analysis is based on the characteristic function, and does not resort to any assumption on the statistical behavior of the interference.

Spectral efficiency of a cellular MC/DS‐CDMA system in Rayleigh fading

open access: yesInternational Journal of Communication Systems, 2005
AbstractThe spectral efficiency of a multicarrier direct‐sequence code‐division multiple‐access (MC/DS‐CDMA) cellular system, operating in a mobile radio environment with Rayleigh fading, is investigated and evaluated in terms of channel capacity (in the Shannon sense) per user, estimated in an average sense. The analysis is based on the combination of

Statistical Modeling of Bit-Error-Rates in Asynchronous Multicarrier CDMA and Direct-Sequence CDMA Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
This paper presents a method for modeling the bit-error-rate (BER) probability density functions (pdf) of asynchronous Multicarrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) and Direct-Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA) systems.

Research on synchronisation for burst and instantaneous communication in integrated radar and communication

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, Volume 2019, Issue 21, Page 7966-7972, November 2019., 2019
Integration of radar and communication (Radcom) is one of the important research areas for multi‐functional integrated radio frequency systems. Most attention has been drawn to the Radcom system based on signal‐sharing, due to its high integration degree.

Early‐Life Exposure to Pulsed LTE Radiofrequency Fields Causes Persistent Changes in Activity and Behavior in C57BL/6 J Mice

open access: yesBioelectromagnetics, Volume 40, Issue 7, Page 498-511, October 2019., 2019
Despite much research, gaps remain in knowledge about the potential health effects of exposure to radiofrequency (RF) fields. This study investigated the effects of early‐life exposure to pulsed long term evolution (LTE) 1,846 MHz downlink signals on innate mouse behavior.

Analysis and FPGA Realization of a Novel 5D Hyperchaotic Four‐Wing Memristive System, Active Control Synchronization, and Secure Communication Application

open access: yesComplexity, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
By introducing a flux‐controlled memristor with quadratic nonlinearity into a 4D hyperchaotic system as a feedback term, a novel 5D hyperchaotic four‐wing memristive system (HFWMS) is derived in this paper. The HFWMS with multiline equilibrium and three positive Lyapunov exponents presented very complex dynamic characteristics, such as the existence of

A Multiple‐Access Time and Frequency Spectrum‐Spreading Modulation

open access: yesWireless Communications and Mobile Computing, Volume 2018, Issue 1, 2018., 2018
In this paper a novel modulation scheme called Carrier Interleaved Multiple Access (CIMA) is proposed. CIMA provides an alternative for multiple‐access modulation accommodating resistance to noise and channel interference. The approach is based on polar signaling modulated with an FM‐like composite sinusoidal function.
