Strain analysis of black‐to‐yellow phase transitions in CsPbI3

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
All‐inorganic metal‐halide perovskite CsPbI3 shows strong potential for photovoltaic applications. Here strain analysis is used to probe the mechanisms behind the instability of its photoactive black phase. The results indicate that a relatively large positive (e1–e2) strain is the primary driver of the black‐to‐yellow phase transition.

Generalist‐pollinated Arabis alpina exhibits floral scent variation at multiple scales

open access: yesNordic Journal of Botany, EarlyView.
Plants that depend on animals for reproduction often use complex floral traits to attract pollinators. Floral scent is recognized as part of the pollinator attraction module and can be shaped by plant‐pollinator interactions. In recent decades, research has started to reveal the dynamic properties of floral scent, identifying patterns of spatial and ...

A Comprehensive Review of Adsorbents for Rare Earth Separation: Design, Synthesis, Adsorption Performance, and Mechanisms

open access: yesRare Metals, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Rare earth elements (REEs) play an irreplaceable role in modern technology and industry. However, due to the highly similar physicochemical properties among REEs, their separation remains a significant challenge. Additionally, REEs often exist in low‐concentration solutions, making efficient REE recovery an urgent task.
