Abstract Background and Aims Triglyceride‐glucose (TyG) index, is an emerging prognostic biomarker in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Validation of its clinical value and of clinically relevant prognostic cut‐off, remains an unmet need to integrate TyG into primary prevention protocols.

Amyloid‐beta (1–40) peptide is associated with systemic metabolic health
Plasma amyloid‐beta 1–40 (Aβ40) levels were measured in 449 individuals without overt cardiovascular disease. Higher Aβ40 was independently associated with metabolic syndrome, dyslipidemia (low HDL‐C, high triglycerides), insulin resistance (TyG index), diabetes mellitus and increased BARD score indicating liver fibrosis risk.

The phenotype of innate‐like T cells changes with age. Here we describe these changes in relation to other subsets of innate cells. Abstract Spectral flow cytometry is an advanced immunological tool that can enable comprehensive analysis of the immune system by simultaneously comparing innate and adaptive immune cells.
