Unraveling the Molecular Mechanisms of Glioma Recurrence: A Study Integrating Single‐Cell and Spatial Transcriptomics

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Glioma recurrence severely impacts patient prognosis, with current treatments showing limited efficacy. Traditional methods struggle to analyze recurrence mechanisms due to challenges in assessing tumor heterogeneity, spatial dynamics, and gene networks.

Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...

Impact of Plasma p‐tau181 on Cognition, Motor Phenotypes, and Disease Course in ALS

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Phosphorylated tau181 (p‐tau181), an Alzheimer's disease biomarker, was recently evaluated in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). We investigated plasma p‐tau181 in 202 ALS/ALS‐FTD patients and 94 healthy controls, assessing cognitive performance, motor function, and longitudinal dynamics.

A Stochastic Total Least Squares Solution of Adaptive Filtering Problem

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2014
An efficient and computationally linear algorithm is derived for total least squares solution of adaptive filtering problem, when both input and output signals are contaminated by noise.

Sigma Convergence Versus Beta Convergence: Evidence from U.S. County-Level Data [PDF]

open access: yes
This note outlines (i) why σ-convergence may not accompany β-convergence; (ii) cites evidence of β-convergence in the U.S.; (iii) demonstrates that σ-convergence does not hold across the U.S., or within most U.S.

Means and convergent sequences

open access: yesAequationes mathematicae
Abstract We generalize a theorem of Housen Li and Markus Haltmeier (which was stated for the arithmetic mean) to the following result: Let M be a strict, continuous and monotonous k-mean on an interval. If each element of a sequence in this interval is bounded from above by the mean of the preceding k elements then the sequence is convergent.

Families of Sample Means Converge Slowly

open access: yesThe Annals of Probability, 1977
The uniform empirical integral differences of Sethuraman's large deviation theorem are proved to converge arbitrarily slowly.
