This study investigates an alternative approach to reactivating the oncosuppressor p53 in cancer. A short peptide targeting the association of the two p53 inhibitors, MDM2 and MDM4, induces an otherwise therapeutically active p53 with unique features that promote cell death and potentially reduce toxicity towards proliferating nontumor cells.

Rotational Hypersurfaces in S3(r)R Product Space
We consider rotational hypersurfaces in S3(r) R product space of five dimensional Euclidean space E5. We calculate the mean curvature and the Gaussian curvature, and give some results.

Elevated level of cholesterol is positively correlated to prostate cancer development and disease severity. Cholesterol‐lowering drugs, such as statins, are demonstrated to inhibit prostate cancer. VNPP433‐3β interrupts multiple signaling and metabolic pathways, including cholesterol biosynthesis, AR‐mediated transcription of several oncogenes, mRNA 5′

Noncollapsing in mean-convex mean curvature flow [PDF]
We provide a direct proof of a non-collapsing estimate for compact hypersurfaces with positive mean curvature moving under the mean curvature flow: Precisely, if every point on the initial hypersurface admits an interior sphere with radius inversely proportional to the mean curvature at that point, then this remains true for all positive times in the ...

Low expression of five purine metabolism‐related genes (ADSL, APRT, ADCY3, NME3, NME6) was correlated with poor survival in colorectal cancer. Immunohistochemistry analysis showed that low NME3 (early stage) and low ADSL/NME6 (late stage) levels were associated with high risk.

On Concircular Transformations in Finsler Spaces
Randers metrics are the most important class of Finsler metrics which is defined by a Riemannian metric and a 1-form as . In this paper, the concept of geodesic circle preserve transformations in Finslerian space is studied and the weak Einstein ...
