Liquidity generated by heterogeneous beliefs and costly estimations
We study the liquidity, defined as the size of the trading volume, in a situation where an infinite number of agentswith heterogeneous beliefs reach a trade-off between the cost of a precise estimation (variable depending on the agent) and the expected ...

Controlled laser‐drilling of embedded HfO2 membranes creates three layer nanopores with Gaussian‐shaped cavities sculptured in the supporting layers. These embedded solid‐state nanopores slow DNA translocation by 12‐fold compared to SiNx pores, enabling high‐resolution, label‐free detection of short DNAs, RNAs, and proteins.

Mean-field games for high-density crowds: The discount factor reproduces experiments but raises numerical issues [PDF]
Among the various types of crowd models, mean-field games have proved especially appropriate to reproduce some experimental results in high density crowds that involve anticipation on a time scale longer than usually involved in collision avoidance.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Coupled Alternating Neural Networks for Solving Multi-Population High-Dimensional Mean-Field Games
Multi-population mean-field game is a critical subclass of mean-field games (MFGs). It is a theoretically feasible multi-agent model for simulating and analyzing the game between multiple heterogeneous populations of interacting massive agents.

The cGAS‐STING pathway boosts HCC antitumor immunity but lacks specific activation. Nanoplatform ZMRPF induces HCC ferroptosis via lipid ROS, releasing mtDNA. It synergizes with ZMRPF‐released Mn2⁺ to activate cGAS‐STING, amplifies antigen‐presenting cell activity, reverses HCC immunosuppression, and enables robust systemic antitumor immunity ...

Shape‐Morphing Nanoengineered Hydrogel Ribbons as Hemostats
This study introduces a self‐assembling, shape‐morphing nanoengineered hydrogel ribbon system that rapidly forms porous aggregates in situ for efficient hemostasis in trauma and surgical applications. Abstract Rapid and effective hemorrhage control remains a major challenge in trauma and surgical care, particularly for complex or noncompressible wounds.
